Carol sees therapy as an unfolding into one’s own Self; discovering one’s true nature and learning to make decisions and choices that support one’s health, wholeness, and authenticity.
Carol is committed to her own personal growth and has practiced meditation for 20 years. She values the journey of self-discovery and respects and honors those who are looking for assistance with their own process through the journey of life.
Carol’s background as an R.N. includes working with the birthing process as a midwife, working in the field of death and dying, working with people experiencing physical and emotional trauma, as well as working at The Chopra Center for Well- Being in the field of Complementary and Integrative Medicine. Carol has also periodically offered volunteer work in India.
She received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the San Diego University of Integrative Studies, and is currently working at the Hospice of the North Coast, working with bereaved families and individuals as well as supporting those in the dying process. She facilitates a Bereavement support group, and is a co- facilitator of a support group with parents who have lost a child..
She sees clients in a private practice setting; individuals, couples, and families, at the Center for Healing and Growth, under supervision with Dr. Walt Rutherford.
